Ahhh… welcome to 1995. For me, this was the absolute peak of humanity. Why?? Well, in 1995, the car world was full of exciting changes and innovations. Japan was making waves with turbocharged icons like the Toyota Supra and Mazda RX-7. Ferrari’s F355 brought serious style and performance, and Porsche’s 993 was manufacturing the last of the air-cooled 911s, loved for its mix of old-school feel and modern tech.
At the same time, brands like Mercedes and Audi were pushing the envelope of speed, safety and refinement, with side airbags in the new E55 AMG and performance wagons like the RS2 Avant were, (quite literally) king of the hill. It was a golden era, full of cars that we all yearn for, but having driven many of these there one that really stands out for me. One car I could see myself owning and driving every day. One car that I knew would keep begging me to drive it harder. Yep. You guessed it. The E36 M3.
This was the car for me. It stood out as one of the best all-rounders of its time. And guess what, I can now confirm that I was right. Dado was right.
