Welcome to the advertisement for Number 562! This is a car that actually has to be seen to be believed. The Violet Chroma Flare paint changes hues from purple to black to green under different light. This interior in Porsche’s “Natural Brown” leather with Walnut and Aluminium complimentary trim is so far removed from any other 996 that we have experienced that you kind of forget what car you are actually behind the wheel of. Similarly the exterior is incredibly straight and even after a Paint Depth Gauge report shows no signs of any repainting or even the slightest accident damage. Mechanically the gearbox is super smooth, the engine has that Porsche-Pull and the combination of the power band and induction scream had us shifting way before redline. There’s a lot of performance here to unlock. Being an AWD car its road holding capability is high, and you could easily enjoy this car on a daily basis with no regard for weather or road condition. Now we can already hear the die-hards proclaiming that the GT3/RS is the best 996 that money can buy. And we wouldn’t disagree. But if you have as bit less then half the money required for a GT3, buying this car certainly gives you more then half the experience and when you consider its one of only 3 RHD Millennium Editions we can only imagine the value of this vehicle going one way. Now we aren’t mathematicians but that seems seems like a pretty good equation to be on the equals-end of. It’s certainly a good reason to not drive boring.
