OK, so, FBT aside, we were probably exaggerating with the term workhorse. This car has clearly been a garage queen since it was pieced together at Elizabeth, SA and “Upfitted” to Maloo specification at the HSV Headquarters in Clayton, VIC. Its condition is nothing short of “showroom” – despite its odometer reading showing an average distance of 4,000 or less km being (carefully) driven since new.
Trust me we can hear what you are saying in your heads right now. It’s no GTSR W1. But here’s something else it isn’t; $1,050,000. And this one doesn’t make -much- less power with 398.6kw being put down on the rollers when it was recently dyno’d. Trust us. You won’t even notice the 80kw that’s missing.
