Finished in Panther Black Crystal Effect (a deep gloss black with a subtle purple metallic pearl that comes alive in the light) this MY15 Audi S3 is what happens when a seriously capable platform is taken that step further… unique, sharper, louder, faster, and far more engaging.
From factory, the S3 delivers a healthy 221kW and 380Nm through its 2.0T and Quattro AWD system, capable of 0–100km/h in around 4.8 seconds. But this example has moved well beyond that. Equipped with a stage 2 tune, APR TCU tune, turbo-back Armytrix exhaust with remote valve control, turbo muffler delete and silicone inlet, it is estimated to produce in the region of 260kw and up to 500Nm+.
What that means in the real world is simple… this is no longer just a quick hatch. It’s a red hot, hot hatch. With traction on its side and torque everywhere, expect 0–100km/h in the low 4-second range (circa 3.9–4.2s) and mid-range acceleration that feels properly urgent. It’s the kind of performance that starts to blur the line between hot hatch and genuine performance car.
The Armytrix turbo-back system, a ~$5,000 upgrade when new, gives the car a dual personality. Valves closed, it behaves. Valves open, it wakes up with a sharp, aggressive note and that addictive turbo crackle on overrun. We have never heard another S3 like it!
Handling has been dialled in to match the power, with lowered springs and a Whiteline rear sway bar tightening the chassis and improving turn-in without sacrificing daily usability. Supported by Brand new Nankang Performance Tyres and upgraded brakes, this is a car that feels composed when pushed.
Inside, the car presents beautifully with diamond stitched black Nappa leather seats, adding a premium, almost bespoke feel to an already well-appointed interior. Seat heaters for the front and Park Assist are another couple of great options selected!
Importantly, this example has had major maintenance recently completed (including the water pump) giving confidence where it counts. A good record of the car’s service history is included in the delivery books. All stock parts are included with the car.
This is not a standard S3. It’s a properly sorted, enthusiast-improved example that delivers significantly more performance, sound and character than factory… without losing the usability that makes these cars so good in the first place.
A seriously quick, well set up AWD hatch for someone who wants more than just “stock”. This is about as far from boring as you can get…
